Southside Consignment

There's a fabulous store in Kalispell called Southside Consignment - it's a great mixture of old, new and very lightly used - you just never know what you're going to find - it's really a wonderful place to shop and Donna and her talented team of helpers sure know how to decorate. Everything always looks fresh and tip top. Here are some of their Halloween/Fall Ideas. These window boxes are fantastic.

Let's have a wander over to the outdoor area.

These signs are all hand painted.

Fun, Inspired Halloween Ideas

What a lovely Fall Tableau created inside the store.

Here's our space.

Lots of interesting bits and pieces to browse through and buy.

Thanks to Donna and her crew at Southside for creating such a fun store - it's the Best Consignment Store Ever!

Vintage Whites Market - The Last of the Season

We've had so much fun this summer selling our goods at The Vintage Whites Market in Somers.  Rebecca, Sandy and Jana have created a great market place - the ambience is just terrific and all of that is due to their friendly, relaxed attitude.  They've built up a great customer base - there's always an enthusiastic line waiting while we're setting up and the buyers are appreciative and eager to shop - what could be better!

You just never know what you'll find at the Vintage Whites Market.  There's always lots of chippy furniture, interesting bric-a-brac and lovely hand made stuff.  These scarecrows are fantastic - what a great idea.

Well there's Mr V.M. sorting out our goods - putting the finishing touches to our space.

Now he's off for a browse around to see what he can find.

There's something for everyone here - vintage clothes, hand made goods, architectural items.
Thanks to the Vintage Whites Market for a great season.  We're already looking forward to next summer.  We just heard - maybe a Christmas Indoor Market - Let's Hope So.

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness

The title is the first line of "To Autumn" a poem written by John Keats in 1890.

Many thanks to my brother in law Gerry who took these great photos on his last visit here.
October is my favorite month of the year here in Montana. The autumn colors are spectacular and the many sunny days are crisp and clear. No gloves required yet - but maybe a jacket or a cardigan. The abundance of fresh fruit and veggies at the Farmers Market is the best - wonderful apples and pears - wild mushrooms and all the different varieties of squash for soups and stews.

Our dog Henry likes to go for walks at this time of year.
